Featured Images of Albuquerque, NM
Here are some of my favorite pictures of Albuquerque, NM. These photos feature some of the iconic Albuquerque settings that travelers want to see when visiting ‘Duke City.’

Of course, the rich palette of Albuquerque colors is not limited to the natural world. The Route 66 heritage of “Duke City” is seen in the gleaming colors of lowriders, classic cars and hot rods seen on the street and in a myriad of car shows during the summer.

The proud heritage and history of the cultures that make New Mexico what it is today are expressed through color. Cultural exhibits, performances and local museums showcase the expressive colors of the Native American and Spanish cultures that have shaped the personality of Albuquerque.
Route 66 roadside architecture makes a drive down Central Ave. (old Route 66) in Albuquerque a colorful experience. As you do so, you will see both remnants of the old ‘Mother Road’ as well as updated expressions of Route 66 style and color!
Of course, I could not speak about Albuquerque colors without mentioning the ever-colorful Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, one of the most colorful events in the world!
If you want a memento to remind you of the colors of Albuquerque, you have plenty of choices in the gift shops located in historic Old Town, Albuquerque oldest district. You are welcome to browse my website for many more examples of Albuquerque color. Of course, the best way to experience our color is to visit Albuquerque!
