Classic pizza from the “old country…”
So, do you want pizza… or do you want PIZZA? There are times when a couple of quick slices to-go will do, and there are other times when you want the sort of savory old-world style pizza you see celebrity foodie Anthony Bourdain pontificating about in his travels to Italy. When you want the Anthony Bourdain experience, Amore Neapolitan Pizzeria is the answer.
Great pizza starts with great ingredients. Amore Neapolitan Pizzeria imports its flour and tomatoes from Italy. They make the mozzarella cheese, sauce and dough in-house. Finally, they use a natural clay, red brick wood burning pizza oven for pizza that is crispy, tender, and fragrant. The wood-fired oven baked pizza crust really stands out, becoming a truly flavorful component of the pizza in its own right. This is the good stuff!
Formerly located in Nob Hill, Amore moved to Green Jeans Farmery, at 3600 Cutler Ave. NE in Albuquerque. Their new commercial plaza location is housed in cutting-edge re-purposed shipping containers that make a striking architectural statement. It’s a fascinating location that compliments the business.
If you are a true pizza buff this should be on your shortlist when you visit Albuquerque. Amore Neapolitan Pizzeria is one of the top pizzerias in “Duke City.”
Amore has a new Old Town location at 1700 Central Ave., just across the street from the Old Town Plaza area. Check it out when you’re in Old Town!
