Santa Fe Photos, Fall Colors

Every season in Santa Fe, New Mexico has its beauty. However, the fall season remains my personal favorite. The sun rises lower in the sky, giving a warmer hue to the light adorning the adobe textures and fall foliage of this charming city. Here are a few of my favorite Santa Fe fall photos. Fall is one of my favorite seasons for visiting Santa Fe, New Mexico. The mornings start out cold but turn into shirtsleeve weather as the sun rises. Because the sun is lower in the sky, there is less glare and a warmer hue to the adobe cityscape that Santa Fe is so well known for. Its the best time for capturing the warm patina of adobe walls against a backdrop of rich fall colors.

If you are visiting Albuquerque, Santa Fe makes for a perfect day trip. It is a very easy commute by Rail Runner, and is perfect for an afternoon stroll, a bit of shopping and a great dinner.
